Chairman's Welcome
The Georgia Association of EMS has been around for a number of years, and our primary goal is to serve the 14,000 paramedics and EMTs that serve Georgia's citizens every day.
The Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services is pleased to announce that Mr. Keith Wages has accepted the position of Disaster Preparedness Coordinator for the Association. He will be working closely with the EMS community, the Office of Emergency Preparedness, the GEMA, and the SOEMS/T to assist in preparing the Georgia EMS community to meet the needs of Georgia citizens in times of crisis. Most of the EMS community is very familiar with Keith. He has served as the regional program manager for two regions of our State, served as State EMS Director and as a planner for GEMA. Keith has asked that you feel free to contact him with your needs and concerns.

presentation on the 2008 Georgia Emergency Medical Services Strategic Resource Plan. GAEMS has been working with the Georgia Tech Research Institute and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency to develop this plan for the last year.
